Some think that the spirit possessing the slave girl (see Acts 16.16ff) could actually foresee the future. If that is so, why didn't it keep far away from Paul and Silas to avoid being cast out? Could this "spirit of Python," identified with the Delphic oracle, not foretell its own expulsion?
