What strikes me as most odd about this mentality is that the loathing of the human condition is undergirded by a profound narcissism.I wonder if it is loathing, but not rather self-exaltion, as the author hints by the undergirding attitude. Man the Engineer of his Destiny throws God into the dustbin. We can fix it! We are the Masters of the Universe. Um, yeah, right. We can't even love our neighbor. #humanity #mankind #rebellion
