Headed to a Bible study, by request of a family. Daughter off to college is missing our weekly readings. Afterwards, pizza and brownies/ice cream, to celebrate the birthday of the lady of the house.
I used it on QBT today, in part, but here's the whole enchilada, from W.A. VanGemeren's commentary on Psalms 50 in the Expositor's Bible Commentary:
"It was a great temptation of God's covenant people in the past, as it is now, to believe mistakenly that everything is in order between them and God."
See here for a line from a song, and a book quote, on a great truth about life in Christ. Bonus: audio of the whole song, by L.O. Sanderson.
This one I like. A lot. "The Heart Is Slow."
Once Posthaven gets really ramped up, with most features in place, I think I'll transfer more spaces and sites to here. Will likely also point my biz card randal.us here to this space. Thinking out loud here, but it seems to have advantages. But I need the ability to create pages, and that's not operational yet.
Eventually, if all goes as expected, I'll likely transfer some of my WP sites to here, such as the Portuguese-language church site, GoSpeak.org, and GospelProgress.com.
So I have high hopes for this service. Will save me some money in the long run as well. If all goes as expected.
Well, it's all brought over from Posterous, and we're ready to move forward with this secondary blog, methinks. Just kicking tires until now, with no new posts. Things will get added here as the gurus put it online. This will prove, I hope, to be an exciting venture.

No doctors, no medical treatment, no recuperation, no gradual improvement. They carried the sick to Jesus, and he healed them. With a simple touch, with only a word, Jesus restored them to perfect health. These physical cures point us to the nature of the spiritual cure.via randalmatheny.com

When Posterous was acquired by Twitter, we promised you a way to download all your Posterous Spaces. Today, we are launching our new Spaces export tool.

Took 'em nine months to do it, but it's a relief to see finally, before Posterous goes the way of the dodo bird.
