I mention in my Forthright Magazine editorial today that since Wednesday we've slept in four beds in four different cities. Grateful for each one and for the hospitality shown us by family and Christian friends.

We arrived Wednesday in N. Little Rock, stayed there that night, went Thursday to Greenville TX to visit Vicki's uncle, then on to just south of Austin on Friday, where we've been staying with the Cains of WVBS fame. Yesterday afternoon we went to San Antonio and presented our work to a missions committee there, stayed with good friends Barry and Sofia Newton, then headed back today to the WVBS center.

Tomorrow, Denton in north Texas for a couple days, where I'll present our work there on Wednesday.

This from a few weeks ago, during refreshments after the Wednesday night Bible reading in our home.

Some days float lazily down the stream of time. Some even inch forward ever so slowly. For most of us, however, those days grow fewer and farther between as the passing years gain velocity and scream past in the warp of relativity.

Then there are those days and weeks that surpass even the normal speed, when the hyperdrive of Star Trek seems a slow motion.
